At Bodegas Dios Baco in Jerez de la Frontera, I tasted sherry for the first time and learned how the centuries-old tradition still defines this city. From Fino to Pedro Ximénez, every glass told a story of Jerez itself.

In two hours we crossed the Roman bridge, explored Salamanca’s cathedrals and university, paused in Plaza Mayor and admired convents and palaces, before looping back with river views.

I only had two hours in Córdoba, so I created this easy walking loop from Torre de la Calahorra. It let me see the Roman Bridge, wander the Judería, and step inside the stunning Mezquita‑Cathedral — all on foot and at a relaxed pace.
